A directory of contemporary artists working now, across twelve disciplines: painting, music, dance, photography, sculpture, animation, film, illustration, literature, theatre, craft and fashion. Each profile gathers one artist's portfolio in a single place, so you see a body of work rather than one image, and the contact details are the artist's own.

The twelve disciplines sit side by side rather than in separate silos, so a bookbinder turns up next to a documentary editor and a flamenco dancer next to a sound artist. Profiles carry whatever the practice produces: images, video, embedded reels, audio, and long-form text. A composer can post scores as text and recordings as audio on the same page.

Filter by discipline, open a profile, and read the artist's own description of what they do, no account required. Whatever is on the contact tab, a phone number, an email address, a website, a social account, was put there by the artist, and the writing happens off this site. An account adds following, and favourites, which sit on your profile.

Anyone looking for an artist to commission needs the same two things: enough work to judge the range, and a way to reach the person who made it. Profiles are written and maintained by the artists themselves, so what you read is their account of their practice, not a listing someone else wrote about them. A profile and the portfolio on it cost nothing to publish.
