Animators and motion designers publish their portfolios here: character work in 2D and 3D, stop motion, cut-out, rotoscope and motion graphics. Each profile holds a reel, finished pieces and whatever the animator wanted to show of the process, plus the contact details they chose to publish.
The job splits in ways the titles do not always show. A character animator times a walk on twos and worries about arcs. A motion designer builds a title sequence in After Effects and worries about kerning. A stop motion animator spends a week on thirty seconds, because every second of film holds twelve to twenty four separate positions of the puppet.
Browsing needs no account. Open a profile and you get the reel, the individual pieces, a short biography and a contact tab with whatever the animator chose to publish, often a Vimeo channel and an address. A job rarely goes to one person: you watch five and write to three. That is what the free account is for, holding the short list.
Reels are the whole audition, so read them as one. Length is short, the cuts are fast, and the order is deliberate: the strongest six seconds sit first. What a reel hides is what a brief needs, which is why plenty of animators also post a breakdown, the same shot with the rig showing, the blocking pass, the layered comp. If you need someone for a specific job, that is the material to look at.
