Animation · Works
Animated short films, loops, title sequences, music videos, idents and unfinished experiments, in 2D, 3D, stop motion and motion graphics. The work plays in the page, posted by the animator who made it, usually as a Vimeo or YouTube embed with the stills and notes alongside.
Timing is the whole thing and it does not survive a screenshot. A held pose reads as weight; two frames too many and the same pose reads as a mistake. Hand-drawn work carries the boil of the line, stop motion carries fingerprints in the clay, 3D carries whatever the rig would let the animator get away with.
Everything plays without an account. Each piece sits on its own page with the animator's description, the year, the technique and a link back through to the rest of their portfolio, which for animation matters: a four second loop out of context tells you nothing about whether the person can hold a character for two minutes. Posting your own is free.
Length here is honest about the form. A student short runs six minutes because that is what a festival slot allows; an ident runs four seconds because that is the slot a broadcaster gave it. Loops have no length at all, which is why so many of them are made: a good four second cycle can be watched forty times and still hold.
